Hey, thanks for creating this suggestion!
I have implemented the feature to "save selected tabs" today and released an update to the store.
It should update automatically to your devices soon.

As a workaround:

select tabs (with CTRL key)
drag'n'drop them to create a new window
save all tabs from new window

It's a really quick intermediary step
